LEARNING BY PROJECTS

ARDUINO REMOTE SENSING AND CONTROL USING 433 MHz MODULES

About the Projects in this Book

This book assumes very little previous knowledge and it contains some introductory material that will assist the less experienced Arduino programmers.

There are 10 projects in this book that each take the user through 4 stages of development in which specific concepts are introduced and demonstrated. The experiments represent typical practical remote sensing and control  projects using the 433 MHz Tx/Rx modules.

The programming is considerably simplified by the VWComm library that has been developed by the authors and can be downloaded freely from this site.

The experiments in the book are:

Experiment 1:   Sending and Receiving Simple Data

Experiment 2:   Sending and Receiving On/Off Signals

Experiment 3:   Towards Reliable Signalling

Experiment 4:   Communications Using Other Data Types

Experiment 5:   Extending the Transmission Range

Experiment 6:    Wireless Doorbell

Experiment 7:    Simple Weather Station

Experiment 8:   Remote Keypad Lock

Experiment 9:   Using Multiple Receivers

Experiment 10: Remote Data Logging and Real-Time Clock
